Soccer Manager is a sports management game in which you are put in charge of leading a soccer club to glory. To do so, you'll compete against other human players over the Internet, all of whom have the same goal as you.
Like in most sports management games, one of the key features is trading players. You can sign and sell any player, as long as you negotiate with others. For example, you might have a great left wing that another team is interested in, and perhaps you will be willing to make a trade if they offer you a defensive player that you've been needing for your lineup.
Other than trading players, Soccer Manager offers a good amount of realism when it comes to managing throughout a season. You can compete in a league, cup, and of course an international cup. To win all these trophies you'll have to have a good squad, not just a mediocre team with one standout player.
Numbers are also an important part of Soccer Manager: 50,000 players and more than 2,000 teams to start with, but also dozens of options when it comes to managing your strategies and tactics.
Soccer Manager is a complete sports management game, as it should be. It has a clear, practical interface and gameplay that goes deep enough to keep you absorbed for hours.
